So, a friend of mine is looking for a 73-74 Celica Coupe. He's being short on why he's looking for one, but I have a feeling that it's going to be as cool as his current one. So, if any of you have a line on a 73-74 Celica Coupe (he don't want no liftbacks), let me know and I'll pass them along.
2k or less would be ideal. It doesn't need to be running but rolling is a big plus.
Also, the closer to the Seattle area, the better.

I know of a mint celica Supra in Rochester NH.....
It was put into a pole but it runs. and drives.
I think its still there at least.

It's gotta be a 73-74 Celica Coupe. I found him a decent 76 nearby but he's adamant about the year.

Well, the car pictured above has a 3SGE BEAMS swap done to it so I'm thinking he is going bigger (1UZ or 1/2JZ) and keeping the BEAMS Celica for funsies.

If he's down to drive all the way here to the Bay Area, I'd be willing to help out.

You got pics/links to the car(s)?

Yeah me too. A running 73-74 Celica for 2K would be a buy know, wonder where to put it later.

Smog isn't an issue here in WA (no smog on anything 25 years or older). And what forums are you on? We're on Classic-Celica and 1stGen Celica (although I haven't looked on 1stGen personally).

You have to excuse me though cause I own a S30, but some posters in these fourms usually sell a classic JDM other than Datsun. I'm on ratsun, hybridZ, zcar, nicoclub, classiczcar, and zdriver.

J-tin is J-tin. I don't discriminate based on brand.

I love the first generation Celicas. When I was in college, I passed on one that needed a bit of work but was in overall decent shape for $600. Ended up with a Mitsubishi Starion project instead. It's amazing how rare and thus expensive all of the older JDM cars are getting these days.
But yeah, the oldest Celica on my craigslist is a 1999, so no luck there.
